Our Company recently refinished the hardwood floors at the New Jersey State Police Museum. The museum, a log cabin designed barracks having a tremendous amount of history dating back to the early 1920s was first used as a training facility for the State Troopers. Today the once active facility is now proudly opened to the public. Inside you will find a rich history of the New Jersey State Police including artifacts from the crime of the century, "The Lindbergh Baby Case," antique motorcycles and automobiles used during the early years, and various pieces of equipment which was considered state of the art in law enforcement.

When I was called in to submit a bid for the sanding and refinishing of the floors it was a key factor that dust control was a high priority for this project. You see several of the antique automobiles and motorcycles could not be moved out during the refinishing process and one of the police cars literally had to be physically moved back and forth to sand underneath it.

The project was a bit of a challenge for us, but one that we gladly accepted. The Troopers were really impressed with the Oneida Vac System that has been a part of our arsenal in combating airborne dust for the past year. Incidentally we picked up numerous prospective jobs from people who had come to the museum that week who saw us sanding the floors with our dust control system. They were really impressed with how clean the project appeared using your companies system .
