Patrick Hunt and his crew at Hunt Hardwood Floors, Inc. are using Oneida’s Floor Sanding Dust Containment equipment on all of their machines with fantastic results. Pat is This Old House’s go-to contractor for all of their wood flooring needs. He and his crew have been featured on the TV show as well as in the magazine. Pat started his business in 1987 and has solidified himself as a leader in the industry through quality craftsmanship and progressiveness in the industry.

Hunt Hardwoods has always been dust conscious, spending hours every job hanging plastic, using fans and at the end of the job, coming through with leaf blowers to blow all the dust in the sanded areas out of the house. Pat knew there had to be a better way. He needed a system that eliminated airborne dust and therefore eliminated all of the time spent trying to prevent dust migration and the cleanup afterwards. It also had to be entirely mobile and truly portable for his work in downtown Boston. Oneida Vac Systems filled the bill superbly. Able to be transported easily and small enough to go to upper floors, the System makes virtually dustless sanding a reality.
