I guess you can call me picky, but I am not an average floor guy. I have alway done whatever it takes to separate myself from the compeition and be at my best for the client in the hardwood flooring business. Taking all the extra steps and paying attention to detail to get the floors perfect wasn't enough. Simply put , I couldn't stand the mess and the unhealthy environment floor sanding produced. The dust was everywhere it truly gets into and on everything .. Even with plastic up it still finds a way to contaminate the house, getting into vents , light fixtures , electronics etc. Plus --it was all over me and my equipment. I couldn't stand working in it anymore.

Oneida has changed my business and the way I sand floors now. Their dust-vac system is truly dustless ! I cant find dust anywhere . My clients love it --they cant believe it. My crew loves it ---no more plastic , no more dust masks and the jobs come out better. I did a lot of research on all the dustless systems and none compared to the efficiency and ease of Oneida. From setup to operation to portability I was amazed at how simple it was. Besides being dustless the feature that caught my eye was the sealed fireproof collection drum . I am a firefighter also and have always been cautious of the sanding machine bag catching on fire due to sparks caused by nails etc. I've known people this has happened to and there is nothing you can do if it gets going and you don’t extinguish it quickly ! Oneida eliminates that giving me peace of mind and added safety . Plus the folks at Oneida made sure everything was perfect for me --They said it was guaranteed or I would get a refund..... I'm so happy with the system that even if it worked half as good as it does I'd still buy it.

I've been using the dust vac system on all my jobs now and gave an estimate to a customer in a high end home. I explained the dustless system and the result it produces. I now charge more per sq ft on sand jobs because of it. The customer decided to hire someone else who came in cheaper. Long story short --they called me back and asked me to come by to give them another quote because the guy they hired was not going to be able to finish. I couldn't believe all the dust that was in the house --it was everywhere and on everything. I had forgotten how much dust floor sanding creates without the Oneida system. I actually think the bag blew off or something because this was pathetic. I don't ever have to worry about that stuff again. And , they were happy to hire me.
